NKT® for Animals

In the event that a course needs to be canceled, you will be given at least 30 days notice. We are not responsible for any travel expenses. In the animal (equine and canine) seminars, students learn the concepts of motor control theory and the NeuroKinetic Therapy® system’s protocol. Manual muscle testing (through an indicator) will be demonstrated for each segment of the body of the animal. How to recognize compensation patterns, whether they are from reciprocal inhibition or a dysfunction in a kinetic chain, will comprise much of the classroom theory and practical sessions.

NeuroKinetic Therapy Equine is for all animal practitioners who are licensed/certified and insured to work in their field – veterinarians, chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, body workers, and any other manual therapy practitioners. Prospective students without certification will not be allowed to practice on animals, so would not be eligible to take the course (eg. horse owners, trainers, riders, etc.). Human therapists/NKT practitioners who do not hold a formal qualification to work on animals are not eligible for participation in the NKT Animal courses.
