This course will discuss the anatomy and functions of the pelvic diaphragm and its relationship to the intrinsic core muscles involved in stabilization. It will address common reasons pelvic floor rehabilitation and surgical procedures may fail, while also demonstrating common dysfunctional relationships within the pelvic floor. In addition, it will present the NKT protocol as a tool for functional testing that can help optimize movement strategies and reduce the risk of complications. The course will also include relevant research and helpful links that support the use of these methods.
