The practical evaluation is approximately 30 minutes and costs $70 USD.
The fee may vary by country. This session evaluates the student’s
knowledge and proficiency in the NKT® system.

You have six months from the date of your class to complete certification.
Late fees are charged in addition to the practical evaluation fee.
To attend a Level 2 or Level 3 course, you must be certified at the preceding level no later than one week before the course begins.
Once you have successfully certified at a particular level, that certification does not expire for the purpose of advancing to the next level. You may enroll in the next level of NKT® training whenever you wish.
For example, once you have earned Level 1 certification, you remain eligible to attend Level 2 even if more than two years have passed.
Although an earned certification does not expire for the purpose of
advancing to the next level, your certification must be current if you wish
to:
Current certification status lasts for two years from the date you certify.
If you certify at a higher level during that period, your current status is
extended for another two years from the date of the higher-level
certification.
To remain current after that period, you must renew your certification at
your current level or certify at a higher level.
You are responsible for knowing your renewal date. If your certification
status is not current, you will be removed from the Practitioner Directory
and will not be eligible to assist in NKT classes. However, you will remain
eligible to enroll in the next level of training.
To assist at an NKT course, your certification status must be current at the
level being taught or at a higher level.
For example, to assist at a Level 2 course, you must hold a current Level 2
or Level 3 certification.
A digital certificate will be emailed to you within one week after you
successfully complete certification.
A printed certificate will be given to you at the beginning of the
next-level NKT course you attend. If you would like a printed certificate
mailed to you, please email us with your mailing address. A $7 mailing fee
applies.
The patient presented with right-sided lower-back/SI joint pain. With the
patient in a supine position, I asked him to arch his lower back, which
produced pain in the right SI region. He did not experience pain when
flattening his lower back.
I used the painful arching movement to initiate the NKT® protocol. I then
manually muscle-tested the transversus abdominis (TVA), which tested weak.
Weak in the Clear Testing was not applicable because the SI joint is a
ligament.
I used Therapy Localization over the right SI region and retested the TVA.
It then tested strong. I performed a right SI joint-gapping maneuver and
asked the patient to arch his lower back again. When I retested the TVA, it
remained strong.
For home care, I taught the patient an SI joint-gapping technique using his
belt, along with TVA exercises. I advised him to perform 20 repetitions of
the gapping technique and 20–30 repetitions of the TVA exercise twice daily.
