If you need to cancel your seminar registration, you may be eligible to transfer your registration or receive a partial refund, depending on when NKT receives your cancellation notice.
All cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT). The date NKT receives your written request will determine which fees and conditions apply.
Cancelling an MMT registration does not cancel an NKT seminar registration. Students who also registered for an NKT seminar must notify NKT separately and in writing if they wish to cancel or transfer their NKT registration. Notice provided to the MMT organization will not be considered notice of cancellation to NKT.
If NKT does not receive written cancellation notice before the NKT seminar begins, the student will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund, transfer, or future seminar credit.
If NKT cancels a seminar due to low enrollment, NKT will refund the full registration amount paid, including any PayPal transaction fee charged to the student.
NKT is not responsible for airfare, lodging, ground transportation, visa fees, or other expenses incurred in connection with attending a seminar. Please confirm that the seminar has reached its minimum enrollment and is scheduled to proceed before purchasing non-refundable transportation or accommodations.
You may transfer your registration to the same seminar offered at a different time and/or location.
A $50 administrative transfer fee is due when your transfer request is submitted. Your replacement seminar must take place within one year of the original seminar date.
If you later cancel the replacement seminar, the cancellation fees and conditions in effect on the date of your original transfer request will apply.
Anyone who cancels 14 days or fewer before the seminar begins, regardless of the reason, will not receive a cash refund. The registration may only be transferred in accordance with the terms above.
Unless NKT provides written approval otherwise, a registration may be transferred only once. Any additional transfer request is subject to NKT’s approval and an additional $50 administrative transfer fee.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund, transfer, or future seminar credit. A student is considered a no-show if the student does not attend the seminar and NKT has not received written notice of cancellation before the seminar begins.
If you request a cash refund, the amount refunded will depend on the date NKT receives your written cancellation notice.
PayPal transaction fees and wire-transfer fees are non-refundable when a student cancels. A $20 processing fee will also be deducted from every cash refund.
The following cancellation fees will be deducted from the registration amount:
A refund will never exceed the amount NKT received from the student after the applicable fees and deductions have been applied.
A $50 fee for access to the Online Anatomy and Kinesiology Course and the Manual Muscle Testing Video is non-refundable once access to the materials has been provided, whether or not the student has viewed or completed them.
These online materials are not part of the Level 1 seminar curriculum.
If a seminar must be cancelled, NKT will normally provide at least 30 days’ notice whenever circumstances permit.
If an instructor becomes ill, flights are cancelled, severe weather affects travel, or another circumstance beyond NKT’s reasonable control prevents the seminar from taking place as scheduled, NKT may reschedule the seminar.
The student’s registration will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled seminar. If the student cannot attend the new date, the student may transfer the registration to the same seminar at another available location, subject to availability.
Except where required by applicable law, NKT is not responsible for airfare, lodging, ground transportation, visa fees, lost income, or any other expenses or damages resulting from the cancellation or rescheduling of a seminar.
A force majeure event is an event beyond NKT’s reasonable control that prevents or materially interferes with the seminar. Such events may include, but are not limited to, political unrest, natural disasters, fires, floods, severe weather, medical emergencies, epidemics or pandemics, terrorism, labor strikes, government restrictions, and the interruption or curtailment of transportation.
If a seminar is cancelled or postponed because of a force majeure event, the student may choose one of the following options:

Before purchasing transportation or accommodation, students should confirm with NKT that the seminar has reached its minimum enrollment and is confirmed to proceed.
Students are strongly encouraged to purchase refundable or transferable travel arrangements and appropriate travel insurance. NKT is not responsible for airfare, lodging, transportation, visa fees, or other related expenses if a seminar is cancelled, postponed, relocated, or rescheduled.
